BIRKENSTOCK, known for 250 years as a foot orthosis, has now brought in BLUE FOOTBED, which can be worn with anything.
Originally, BIRKENSTOCK was born from BLUE FOOTBED, an insole that is used for medical purposes in its home country and is covered by insurance.
However, when walking on hard ground or asphalt, the foot lands on the ground with the heel and kicks out with the ball of the thumb, so the pressure is applied only to the heel and ball of the foot, and is not distributed. This causes the arch of the foot to be unsupported and the foot to drop down, which leads to fatigue.
By supporting the arch naturally, the pressure is dispersed throughout the sole of the foot, which reduces the burden.
