The classic cardigan from JOHN SMEDLEY has arrived.
The texture is soft, feels great on the skin, and is comfortable to wear, with an elegant sheen.
It is made with the finest quality extra fine merino wool and is a high-gauge piece made using the fine 30-gauge yarn that is unique to JOHN SMEDLEY.
By using 30 gauge yarn, it has none of the prickly or itchy feeling that is unique to wool, and has excellent heat retention.
All the details are knitted separately and then hand-linked to create natural elasticity. Once completed, the garments are washed, dried, pressed, and then carefully hand-finished one by one by artisans through 35 steps, including labeling and buttoning. It takes about a year from raw materials to completion.
This time, it will be available in one color: Hepburn Smoke, a simple dark gray.
It can be paired with Black Resolute or white denim, and also looks great with trousers such as INCOTEX.
