We have just received the G9, a masterpiece from BARACUTA, a brand founded in 1937 in the rainy city of Manchester, England.
The G9 was born when the Miller brothers, who loved golf, wanted clothes that were easy to move in.
For this reason, the details include raglan sleeves to allow for easy shoulder movement, an umbrella yoke on the back to repel rain so that it falls off cleanly, and slanted waist pockets that can easily hold two golf balls.
The lining has remained unchanged since ancient times and continues to use Fraser tartan check.
The sleeve lining is made of cupra fabric to make it smooth and comfortable, so there is no tightness.
The cuffs and hem are made of knit rib for a snug fit, enhancing wind resistance.
A distinctive feature of the G9 is its stand-up collar "dog ear" design, named after the way it looks like a dog's drooping ears. When all the buttons are closed, no wind can get inside.
The size is just right and roomy, yet still creates a clean and beautiful silhouette.
